The remarkable journey of Fanta Celah as a fine artist began at an early age, selling her first commissioned piece at age 15. Shortly thereafter, Fanta became one of the youngest emerging Chicago-based artists "on the scene". She was featured in Chicago’s Who’s Who 2009 Edition, amongst other articles, and publications.

Fanta’s compositions range from abstract to portraiture. She especially enjoys painting landscapes and seascapes, that allow you to enjoy the sunrise from the comforts of your living room.  Her brilliant use of color induces the higher senses and her ultimate goal is to touch people inwardly, to inspire them, to heal. Fanta works with oil and acrylic, but prefers to utilize biodegradable materials such as mangos and dehydrated citrus peels whenever possible. Fanta’s art is interwoven with her personal mission to maintain respect for the earth and its natural resources.  To date, Fanta Celah’s work has appeared in

South Side Community Art Center Chicago, 2001& 2011

The Museum of Science & Industry Chicago, 2003

National Black Fine Art Show SOHO, NY 2008

Gallery Guichard Chicago, 2008

Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, 2009

Dorsey's Art Gallery Brooklyn, NY 2010

She also paints live onstage with musical artists, such as Les Nubians in 2010 & 2011 in Chicago.
